I think the whole webbands idea is a great way to support illness and beliefs.. I have a grandparent who died of cancer.. and one that survived. Also. I chose diabeties because one of my closest friends suffers from that diasise. Keep Up The GooD WoRk

I just want to say that thanks for thinking about the people who suffer these diseases…its hard to describe how you feel about any support given (as i suffer from juvenile diabetes), but thanks so much, just to help raise awareness and support.

I think webands are great. You can display them everywhere. I chose diabetes because my father suffers badly from it and all I could do is help and support these illnesses[sp?]

It is an amazing feeling knowing people support you and others like you who have the disease.
I was diagnosed with juvinile diabetes almost 2 years ago (it will be 2 years on Sept’ 8th, 2005) and any bit of support is a huge deal to me, and others (I imagine).
So thank you so much for your care, I’ll be sure to have this banner on my site and reccommend it to others as well
One suggestion I’d like to make, is anyone who is in Ontario, or Canada for that matter, from the ages 7-15 and has juvinile diabetes, you should check out Camp Huronda (located in Huntsville, Ontario).
I promise, it is the most amazing place in the world for any child/teen with diabetes. Staff and campers all have it, so you feel totally comfortable.
Who knows, maybe you’ll see me on staff next year =)
But anyway, I’ll end my horrendously long post here.

I agree with both of you whom has Juivenile diabetes. i was used to getting 3 shots a day. my blood sugars were over 300 all od the time this past year, as i came out of my honeymoon period [a span of time after being diagnosed, where you body makes NO insulin] and, finally, i was accepted for the Deltec Cozmo Insuling pump [ www.cozmore.com ] now, after almost three years, i can eat what i want, when i want. bo more eating everytwo hours! hehe. anyway, thank you for these bands. they are very encouraging. it lets you know that others are out there jsut like you…

Hey. Well i have to agree wih Leah and Heather, and Jess. I’ve had diabetes for over 10 years now, almost 11 (Diagnoased when I was 3 years old). I was having great numbers, until about 3 years ago, when I got my insulen pump. Now, I have “roller-coaster” sugars, but I can eat whatever, whenever, and act like a normal child.

I’ve choosen to bring this band to my “website” because many people wanted to know about it. Now I can show it, and describe what it means. But I won’t go into detail, thanks so much!

Its really great that you have these webands also for diabetes now. Because i have now allready 6 years
juvinile diabetes . First i was using a couple years an insuline pen. But it did not worked out anymore. And i have now for almost 2 years an insuline pump. So much better. But sometimes its really hard to cope with this stupid illness.

Hi, I have diabetes so I find this very interesting. Though I hate it as people always think diabetes is caused by being over-weight, and in a way its insulting because I am not over weight. But then again I have Type 1 which isn’t rumored to be caused by fat. By they use it in general. BLAH. BLAH. BLOB. =]
