Hello and welcome to Webands! This site offers an online version of the trendy rubber bracelets to show your support for causes. It was opened April 15, 2005, and is proudly hosted by E-Starr.

Webands is best viewed in a resolution of 800×600 or above. It is run on CSS, Wordpress, and Javascript. It was made in Firefox, but works in all browsers (or should since it’s valid).

Webands used 1.6 gig of bandwidth for the month of June. I was wondering how to possibly fix this, when Amy of E-Starr offered me a home. So now we’ve moved hosts and have plenty of bandwidth available for the site.

There’s also a new layout. And I’ve integrated Wordpress so the whole site is run purely on this marvelous script. As of now, there aren’t any new bands, but I’ll get to that soon.

Since I don’t have a way to get in touch with any of the people who use a band except for on this site, I made a mailing list. Please join so you can be notified when any big changes come up. I’ll also send out emails when we have lots of new additions.
